Short version: we collect what's needed to run your account and verify you're 18+, we don't sell your data, and we don't process payments on this site. Details below.
This Privacy Policy describes how The System Analytics ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit or create an account on thesportssystem.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Creating an account requires an email address and either a password, or signing in with your Google account. If you sign up with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares for sign-in (your name, email address, and profile photo) — we do not receive your Google password.
Before you can use the Site, we also collect the following directly from you, to verify eligibility and personalize your account:
| Field | Required? | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| First & last name | Required | Account identification |
| Date of birth | Required | To verify you're 18 or older — see Section 5 of our Terms of Service |
| Zip code | Optional | Not currently used for any feature; may inform future region-specific content |
| Phone number | Optional | Not currently used for any feature; not used for marketing calls or texts |
Your password (for email/password accounts) is hashed and managed by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store it in plain text.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to the Site — page views and general usage patterns. This is a cookie-free analytics product; it does not use tracking cookies and does not build an individual profile of you across other sites.
We do not process payments or collect payment card information on the Site. Upgrading to a paid tier is currently handled manually — you contact us directly and we grant access — so no card or billing information is ever entered into the Site itself.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Account and profile data is stored with Supabase, our authentication and database provider. Your signed-in session is kept in your browser's local storage, not in tracking cookies. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
We rely on the following third parties to operate the Site. Each has its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review:
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the email below — we'll verify your identity and process the request.
The Site is intended for adults 18 years of age and older (see our Terms of Service) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests to access, correct, or delete your information, can be sent to thesystemanalytics@gmail.com.
